STOCKS – U.S. investors stayed cautious in pre-market action on Friday, with stock futures wavering around the flat line ahead of key unemployment data that could play a major role in determining the first Federal Reserve rate hike.
BONDS – German and U.S. bond yields stretched to its widest in more than a quarter of a century as government bond yields across the 19-country euro zone took another step lower.
COMMODITIES – Oil futures inched higher, while metals dropped across the board.
CURRENCIES – The euro broke below $1.0980 for the first time since September 2003 as it continued its steady march lower.
ECONOMIC DATA – US Non-Farm Employment Change and CAD Trade Balance due at 8:30 ET.
